ULP: Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg - France

Association of University Louis Pasteur (ULP) and National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) in UMR ULP - CNRS 7515; the laboratory called LMSPC (Laboratoire des Matériaux, Surfaces et Procédés pour la Catalyse) is part of the European laboratory ELCASS and member of the Network of Excellence IDECAT (NMP3-CT-2005-011730). The LMSPC deals mainly with studies on catalytic activities and chemical processes. The main fields of research are related to environmental catalysis and energy. Projects have been carried out at international level and funded by European Union in the DeNOx reaction (G3RD-CT2002-00792) and in biomass valorisation (JOR-CT95-0037; JOR-CT99-0196; ENK-5CT2000-00314). The group is also member of permanent research networks on energy and sustainable development on national or international level (ANR-PREDIT, ACI-CNRS BIOMASTERS, GDRI).
About 50 people including university and CNRS researchers, engineers, technicians, post-doc and PhD students are working permanently.
